About Us

CGF is an agricultural women-led endeavour, for much-needed global food production; to feed the growing world population. One in nine people suffer from hunger, that is, an estimated 820 million people per day and more prevalent in children than in the adult population (WHO 2021). The World Health Organization (WHO) Zero-hunger described how the resources to stem hunger are available, but remained inaccessible to the regions more in dire need. CGF, its development, strategies, vision, business model and journey are all founder’s idealizations.

Development

Agriculture is a substantial aspect of the global economy. Innovation has never been easy and a true achievement comes with dedication and a clear vision of the end purpose. Don’t stand on the fence, be the change. We are women founders of the women-led farming community. In our vision, an ecosystem is created, where women are supported and given the resources they need; to be successful farmers and entrepreneurs. Why women? They are economically underserved and often the breadwinners of their homes and extended families, in Africa.

Vision

We do not claim to be able to solve all farmers’ problem, but will  try and support them in their journey. We offer farmers that enrol in the ecosystem personalized service. Knowledge is key to successful food production and zero hunger. We can support and uplift farmers’ knowledge. We can offer a loan, insurance, savings and pension services to balance the farming grounds. So, the right fit, are welcome on board.

Agric - Journey

Not everyone knows where their food comes from, for example, its agricultural process. Some may think they are made by the supermarkets, more precisely, at the back of the store. We believe in putting farmers in the spotlight and to offer them the attention they deserve.  We believe that, educating the next generation through awareness of the agricultural process, is the key to getting them interested in farming.
