The founder of Lucy’s centre acknowledges the difficulties women encounter in Africa, even as farmers.  Lucy’s centre is dedicated to all women in remembrance of the founder’s mother. It is set up to support women in the farming ecosystem, a safe space to explore and discuss farming concerns. Women can also apply for loans to spend on farming.
